Script Analysis

How does the film start at a dramatic moment in the middle of the drama?
The film starts in the middle of the drug dealing between the girl and the dealer. you do not know what is happening yet because if doesn't show what happens before with the boyfriend and girlfriend. The tension in the drug dealing also makes it more dramatic since it is a serious mood.

What terrific scene will open and what memorable scene will end the film?
The terrific scene is the phone call because it shows the ties between the boyfriend and girl. It throws all the character together which means they are all connected together and shows there is some kind of plan going on. The memorable scene that will end the film is the girl going inside the drug dealer's car which shows something bad is going to happen and her screaming adds to the danger.

What's my character's attitude and positions in the events?
The main character is John and he is the boyfriend of the girl. He reveals a major betrayal in the story to his girlfriend. His attitude towards the girlfriend is cold and uncaring.

How do i introduce my character?
In the beginning, the phone call between the girl and the boyfriend reveals who they are in terms of attitude and names. The dealer's name is also mentioned in the phone call.

How do i help the audience discover what is happening without telling them everything?
Actions speak louder than words. The expressions, the attitude, the positions, the camera views, the setting, the tone, the character's choices and the reactions all help to help the audience understand the story better.

How to reduce things to a minimum but still have an impact?
The dialouge could be shortened and uses more code phases. The lighting can be darkened so you can not see clearly. We can take out unnessacary scenes that do not add to the film noir characteristics.
